So im interested in doing the true beadlock rings on my truck so who here runs them on a daily and is there anything to worry about? I'd obviously check torque periodically but I'm just curious of any serious downsides to them, thanks

I don't run them on my Raptor but I do run them on my Jeep JK. I have run beadlocks on the street with the Jeep for prob 12+ years and never had a problem. (Knock on wood). And im not the easiest on them either. Like you said, they just require more checking and maintenance then regular wheels. But one issue most have is they are not DOT approved and for off-road only.

Yea ive read the whole dot thing and I do understand that aspect. I'd like to get rims for the raptor but I'm having a hard time finding a set I really like

been running 37s on the ford oem ones that came on the 17's on my '20. went with those because I like how they look.

no downsides for me daily driving, hauling/towing or offroading. just check the torque on the rings periodically. if I do get screws or what have you and needed it patched, I just bring a bucket and the tools I use to install the beadlocks at home, since the tire shop wouldn't work with multipiece/beadlock wheels.

they will road force balance it after I get it all assembled again, which takes less than 15 minutes at their parking lot.

I already have 30k+ miles on it in a span of 14 months mixed daily and work load driving.

Do it, they look awesome. Do it properly and they won’t be a problem. I’ve only had a handful of bolts be 1/16 of a turn out on the torque spec. I originally wanted to get the bead lock rings powder coated to match the wheels… glad I didn’t. The hardware is definitely going to need replacing every few years. The way they look after their first salty winter.
Don’t expect any tire shop in the north east to be able to work on the bead locks.
As for DOT legality, my inspection shop doesn’t realize or care and the cops around here have no idea what they’re looking at.
