i wasnt sure, because i see the kit offers the same amount of travel in the rear from stock, it still keeps the 12 inches of travel from the factory.

Right. But I don't think many of us would make longer travel a requirement for an improved ride. They're two different things.

Have you seen the video RPG posted of their truck running their Stage 4 kit and blasting through the desert woops? Here it is, just in case:

In my opinion, if you want to go faster than this and/or add more travel into that mix, its time for a roll cage. Hell, in truth I'd say what they're showing in the vid is already roll cage fast.

Hope that helps.

who doesnt like the stock suspension of the raptor and wants to get it upgrade soon as possible for a better ride.

i think the 2013 svt raptor should bring the factory 3.0 instead. now that they are not along with the ram runner, it has better suspension than the raptor

Actually... The factory Ram suspension is shit compared to the Raptor. The 35k in aftermarket upgrades that is 'the ram runner' makes the ram a tad faster through the whoops and handle horribly on the road.

I would love it if Ford enhanced the Raptor, but it would only be to improve on a phenomenal platform. The RR isn't even on Fords radar.

Basically the Stage 4 setup is designed from the ground up to work as one unit. Everything has been adjusted and tuned together and the ride is vastly different from stock. For most people, they would never need anymore than what it offers. BigJ is 100% correct, it's roll cage fast, yet very comfortable on the street with a vastly improved ride.

It's funny, I watch the video I made a while back and think to myself how far we have come. Since that video was made, we have made big adjustments to the kit and now it's down right fast. We've focused a lot of our efforts on setting up the rebound, and also valving in the bumps themselves. Don't get me wrong, I've always like the way the truck handled, but now I love it.

With regards to added travel, it does keep it the same as stock in the rear which is more than enough for most of us. The Stage 4 kit will give you the RPG Tuned Fox 3.0's, The National Leafs, Frame support and RPG tuned Fox 2.5" bump stops.

Are you serious?

If you feel that way why buy a Raptor when you can build your own truck with a custom suspension.

By the way, how long have you had your Raptor and how much off-roading have you done in it?

In stock form, I think the stock suspension is perfect for on and most off road situations. I am going with the RPG stage 3 kit soon just because working to eliminate wheel hop and also with some aggressive jumping would like to have the bump stops. Most likely I won't upgrade to the 3.0 as trying to balance out everyday driving and off road, so in the end you have to pick what is right for you and the way you drive the truck. I love the way it rides and handles as is, but I went from a SuperDuty to this, so maybe not best comparison.

I use my father raptor is a 2012 cc silver with sct x cal 3 tunned by team jdm afe stage 2 and corsa. 18 inches rims with offset and pro comp extreme tires.
Sorry but i hate the ride too much valving on the cc raptor because of the paylod capacity increased they have to revalved a bit more than the sc raptor.
So i going to buy one in miami, fl
The only bold on kit avaliable for the raptor is the RPG's stages rear suspension.
I want something like bed cages rear suspension because of the looks as well the long travel makes it an agressive look.

Will the raptor LT suspension dive the front end of. The truck on the road?

I heard that 4.4 fox suspension would not even move on the truck at all it needs heat to work well.

Weren't you complaining about this 3-4 months ago? If I recall you were offered tons of solutions and obviously didn't heed any of them. If you want "better" suspension then shell out the cash and stop waiting for ford to add something to the truck that will dramatically add to the price because they probably won't be doing it.

Also... Give me an example of a truck that rides better than the Raptor for discussion's sake.
