This thread seems to be chasing its own tail despite tons of solid advice being offered.

Well, the best way to add to get plus 2" per side would be to get a custom rearend from someone like Currie. I know Outlaw Raptor has installed a few of them for customers, go to their site and click on the tab "Current Projects", then look at the photos of the Sean F. Raptor Prerunner Build. This truck had a plus 2" per side rearend I believe, plus a bed cage and LT up front and, and, and....you can go as mild or wild as you want. Just add the wider rearend to some deavers and 3" shocks and a bump stop kit and I think you will be good to go.

dually rear end, long travel front, stage 38 suspension with cages inside of cages inside of the bed... smoothest ride possible... plus you'll have tubes and control arms and **** coming out of everywhere win win win

Damn it, just kidding, I can't be mean.

As was said multiple times, you should decide what you want out of the truck first then plan accordingly. You even have a very reputable and well respected vendor in RPG offering advice on your needs. I'd take those opportunities if I was you.

What ever you decide to do, it's a really good idea to have a game plan going into it. That way you don't spend money on stuff you just end up changing down the road anyway. I would make a list of how do you use your truck, what your budget is, what is your end goal and start interviewing vendors to find the right match.
