Interestingly enough, Ford says that the UBS drive has to be "at least 32GB in size", so I'm thinking that the SW update might be using the USB drive as a tmp storage for unzipped files. But I have not updated yet myself, still at ver. 2.3

Ok got it to update. Must have been the Mac weirdness but i reformatted and moved the files with a windows machine and all is good.

I checked owner.ford.com and found the update waiting for me. I downloaded and installed via the normal process going from 2.3. No problems at all.

Now looking forward to the Waze update.

try windows pc if its not formatted properly it wont read the files
