from the bottom to the top, as the kids say.

Damn I must have had the same model Jeep you had. Kept a mallet and a screw driver just in case the starter locked up. Gotta start some place though. Went through the same path as you as well. Started my first job at $5.25/ hr busting ass in the oilfield while going to college. Hard work pays off.

To comment on this thread about the stance, like @zombiekiller said $25k will just be scratching the surface for that build. The King Coilovers, bypass, and Deavers on mine ran more than $15k. I would also agree with him that Texas Motorwerks in Dallas does really good work on building an offroad rig. Might want to give them a call if you want to go all out on a rig like that. From what I know about that Raptor you posted you will be in the ballpark of $50k-$60k at least to build it not counting the donor Raptor.

The look is definitely replicate-able without all the suspension work. Of course the performance wouldn't be the same but we could have some wheels built for you to fill up the Deberti fenders. This truck is running the 3.0 Fox upgrades and taller leafs but stock UCA/LCA. The wheel's need to be fairly wide and very negative on the offset.

rolled and totalled while doing donuts in a flat grassy field.

Insurance company sent it to a copart auction.

purchased for 26K, new owner repaired it with a cab swap.

from what I last saw, it is cruising around texas again.

it had a suspension kit that I am not a fan of. I do not believe that it even had bypasses on the front.

stock rear axle and spacers.

It was a little bit "go", but mostly "show".

I haven't seen the truck in a year, easy. no idea where it is at now.
