GEN 2 Whipple Stage 1 Kit Feedback Thread!

I don't think this is correct... According to Whipple they do nothing with the shift logic and TCM. I've spoken to them and there is talk about them doing it in the future though, but nothing promised.

Whipple has a history with Ford and uses the updates that Ford brings over time... Just like sync -there are code updates continually going on

Agreed, but I was just saying whereas some tunes do transmission tuning (such as MPT), Whipple currently does not. Just didn't want anyone to be misled thinking buying a Whipple tune was going to change the shift logic directly through the TCM.

No. If you are going to Mexico run a stock tune.

Ordered Whipple Stage 1 along with Corsa Full Exhaust, X Pipe and SPG Downpipe. Anyone ran similar and properly tuned?

Any issues I should be aware of?

Weird question but has anyone successfully updated to sync 3 v3.0 with the Whipple tune installed? I tried 30 times with Sync on the phone making sure I was doing it right and it flat out won’t install via USB drive, I was at the dealer for oil change and had the dealer try and they couldn’t get it to go either. They said they updated my computers but it didn’t show a sync update, then they unhooked the battery and hopped it would update via their WiFi but no dice.

I have not heard of anyone with that setup, but I can tell you it will be LOUD!

The DP might throw a CEL depending on how many cells they are using.
