I think a proper poll should have an option for a negative opinion. You should also be able to change your vote. Four people are unsure forever and two are in perpetual testing.

After that big group buy - one thing you haven't seen in here is a person with a negative experience or disappointed with the kit.

That should speak volumes on its own. It's the real deal.

I am loving mine since I got all the little quirks worked out, the truck runs like stock but with huge balls. Lol

SP542s @ .025 with Whipple Stage 1 MOD

Hey everyone...I didn't want to post anything regarding the below until I made the necessary changes and had everything seated, so here goes. in reading through all the threads and picking up details here and there I wanted to post a change that works (for me anyway) I did the Whipple Upgrade on my rig and prior to the upgrade there was a slight hesitation on the low end that seemed worse in colder or hum id weather. Once the Whipple install was done the hesitation became much more noticeable due to the additional HP / TQ added. In reading a lot on here about the Motorcraft SP542 plug, I decided to try them before going through the dealer BS.....IT IS NIGHT AND DAY. The lower heat range of the SP542s gapped at .025 was exactly what the doctor ordered. Finally, very very happy with the performace of the truck and Whipple MOD. It is definitely a different machine now! Thanks for all the good info on here regarding this particular issue.

Man that's great to hear! It is crazy what a plug change will do for these trucks. I have had 3 ecoboost motors and with the proper plugs and gapping, they have all ran smooth as butter. Another testimony to a simple $50 and hour of time (if you nap during) for a plug change and fixes the hesitation.

it was mentioned by those with the mpt tune that they are getting a fair bit lower mpg , hows the whipple doing ? To those that feel the need to reply" i didnt buy it for the gas mileage , buy a prius" save it for starbucks meetups.

One of my main concerns before picking a tune as well. I commute about 1800 miles a month, so 10-11mpg aint gonna cut it.

10,000 miles on MPT 93PRX tune, average 14.2 around town, of course this goes up on the highway.

I don't drive it with the pedal to the metal everywhere I go, so I'm sure that helps, but no slouch on the gas either.
