GEN 2 Whipple Performance Upgrade Kit and Tune

My guess would be you have to have a specific towing tune. With livernois tunes on eco platform you cannot tow with their performance tunes. So anytime I pulled my bass boat I had to switch tunes, kinda sucked especially when you tow once a week or more at times. I usually just led the towing tune in which still ran a lot better than stock.

Is this tune safe for towing say 7500lbs in the dead is summer with 100* heat and high humidity? I like the idea of what Whipple is doing here but was thinking I would need to back off a tune when towing like the above scenario.

Yes it is very safe.

May I ask what’s your speed limiter set at? Still 107 or increased it?

Gov gone. I hit 136 MPH today. Could be a couple more mph there. Ran out of room. Maybe would of climbed to 140 with another 1/2 mike. Trans was in 8th gear and slowly climbing. I know they dyno in 7th but I left it in performance mode and let her do her thing.
