I have a couple thousand miles on the Whipple in my truck and so far like it. My only complaint is under partial or low throttle I get a whistle similar to an old car without suppressed plug wires. Kind of a higher pitched RPM dependent whistle versus the on load whine. If I turn off the stereo it does not go away. Under medium to high throttle I get the normal whine, I am just surprised how much louder the Whipple is over my previous Roush or factory Gt-500 supercharger?
For those of you with a Whipple is this your experience as well? It's not overbearing, most of the time the stereo covers it up.
I had a hard time with the revised alternator on the 14s and had the blower on and off a couple extra times, I am hoping I did not tear an o-ring. I have not installed a boost gauge yet to check psi levels.
Any thoughts?
Thanks Dennis
