I have the BAKflip mx4 and it has been great, NO water leakage and minimum dust. The dust isn't because of the cover, I think it comes in around the tailgate (lack of seal) area. I'm looking at getting some of that rubber tailgate seal to stop the dust.

Thanks to everyone for the responses so far. At this point, after reading posts in this thread, reading other threads, and lots of YouTube videos I'm leaning heavily towards the Retrax Pro MX. The capability to lock it shut, the fact that its sturdy aluminum, and the fact that I can open it varying amounts will be a big advantage for my uses. It seems to sit very low profile and doesn't look like some slapped on aftermarket part. It has a nice factory look. The biggest downside is that I lose a foot of bedspace but, then again, I haven't ever hauled anything in the bed of my raptor that was big enough to require the extra foot - and if I did, it would be a rare occurence. I've also only a few accounts of the Retrax leaking.

I researched for a while, almost went with a few trifolds but I went with the Truxedo Sentry CT. I know you weren’t looking for a roll up, but you should check it out. It’s all aluminum panels and closes up pretty solidly. It’s supposed to hold up to 300 pounds. I feel like I could lay on it, but I’m not going to attempt it, haha. I haven’t seen water in it other than when I had a puddle on my tailgate that could get under the rubber, so it should be impossible for snow to get in except there at the tailgate. And that was one single drip down the inside of the tailgate. We have some pretty extreme weather so I’d say you’d be good. I drove through torrential rains from North Carolina back here to Florida this summer and all of our stuff was dry as a bone.

It’s also easy to fold all the way up, and it stays lower than the rear headrests. I also dig the fabric. It’s like the nicer canvas tops I replaced my old 350Z’s top with. It’s much better than the vinyl they typically use for that stuff.

Hi Sanco :) Yup, just as you guessed. Aurora Sportsman's Club in Waterman. I've been a member for 10 years or so. Its pricey but its worth it to me.
