bend, or
been on both. my choice would be the bigger rubber.

i wouldn’t underestimate the added performance of a larger tire simply for additional sidewalk flex.

what i will say it that at its heart Raptor is still a 1/2 ton truck and 37 are putting a lot of leverage on steering components. but i’m sure ford is a lot smarter than i am.

The aftermarket made it possible to put 37's on Gen1 and Gen2 with longer suspension travel. I have zero experience with a five-link suspension, but my guess is the aftermarket will make longer suspension travel possible in the 37 package, and will also make 37's possible on the 35 package. Just a guess though. Anyone know for sure? And anyone know which way would be cheaper?

My 100% uneducated guess based on outfits like SVC, the OEM option will be less expensive, but the aftermarket will be better (besides voiding any and all suspension warranties). I would guess OEM will be the only option for 37" spare tire under the bed however since they made frame adjustments for that.

Just because they offer 37s from the factory is not going to change the fact that people will make minor mods to fit a 37 on a factory 35 truck. In the grand scheme of things, not much has changed.

I think the “frame adjustment” for the spare was moving the trailer hitch back an inch. If so, it will be an easy mod.

I hope it's that simple, would be nice for people that want to mount 37's without the airline seats. But I digress.

Reality is the difference between 35” and 37” tires is mostly between your ears. If anyone thinks $7500 is justified to give up suspension travel for sidewall flex then have at it. I am happy you have that choice.
A race team would sell their soul for an extra inch of travel. Your money your choice, enjoy

You want a better off-roader buy a bronco. These trucks are too big to do any real off-roading
I would have believed that coming from someone almost anywhere else in the US. Someone in SoCal should know better. Not all off-road is the same. Bring any stock Bronco out to Ocotillo Wells and my Gen1 on stock suspension will run circles around a Bronco and I'll have way more fun doing it. I love the new Bronco, but this is a completely ignorant statement.
