where to buy upfitter aux fuses

Are the fuses for the upfitter aux switches the ones i have circled in the pic called low profile jcase fuses? none of the box stores around me seem to have them...is the ford dealership the only place u can purchase these? any help is appreciated thanks

Ford calls them cartridge fuses, the others are known as low profile the spades on the fuses should be short and also make contact on sides as well. very shocked you cant find them at autozone and such,

I forget what the proper name for them is, but I got them at Advanced, and I think Autozone has them also. Take your old one in with you.

thanks for the help ima try going into autozone or pepboys, over the phone when i told them jcase 15a they said they didnt carry them

Funny you said that, because when I walked into Advanced Auto with mine the guy didn't know what they were called, but he knew he had them. I'm guessing they are pretty unusual, I know I never saw them before. They are expensive as hell too! I think it was $8 for one damn fuse!

damn i was looking to pick up like a 5pk or something too...thats crazy $8 a pop, i tried amazon and ebay cant seem to find them in 15a

I agree, I'm used to buying a box of fuses for that much! I had a couple of issues when I was hooking up my Baja Designs pocket lights and I popped 2.

I already replaced one of my 5 amp upfitter fuses, and it was just a regular fuse, not one of those.
Look in your manual. It lists all the fuse locations.
