Where do these tires come from

So I was wondering where tires come from. I know there rubber, but who is actually making them and in what country. Prices seem to vary but claims to better performance seem to be at an all time high. So exactly who is making the tires.. I found a web site that answers that question...

The final three numbers denote when the tire was produced, with the first two indicating the week, and the last number indicating the year (064 indicates the tire was built in the 6th week of 1994).

and the last 2 numbers in the serial number after the dot are when they were made.
