Whelen Micro Pioneer LEDs

Thinking about Whelens (Amber) in that location. We had a lot of light reflecting back at us last year when the snow would blow and the 40" Rigid (White) was lit up. I had to turn it off quite a few times with all the snow dust.

Am I thinking correctly that the Amber Whelens would work better in the blowing snow? I don't want to put any bars behind the grill. (Don't care for the look)

can't you put one on each side where I have my 2 fog's? I know one would fit on each side and IMO look good and you can still see as much of the shocks anyway I think I never look.

I am sure you could and would look good...I guess jimmy could mock up a bracket for the micros as well.

I like the idea of still have available space....I think a single light would not look so cluttered either...

The light is basically a 5" x 5" x 3" deep....

how hard is it to mount and hook up the license plat ones what switch? I've been wanting some of those.

Not bad at all. just pul the grill off and mount the lights to the bracket jimmy provides from WSI. I did need to drill additional wholes in the metal plate to get the fit the way I wanted.

Run the wires to the fitter box...I have mine on switch #2...

thinking about pulling the trigger on these. A quick question for you smart guys. I have standard Rigid dually set up in the bumper already. My ambers are on switch 4 and the clears are on switch 3. Could I just wire the whelens into the clear rigids on switch 3. I think that is a 15 amp, so can it handle four LEDs?

I have them(whelen) and the clear Rigids on switch 2. My 2 light Bars are on switch 1 not sure about switch 3.

I believe the Micro Pioneers draw about 4 amps per light. Just add that up to whatever the amp draw is for the lights you want to wire in series with and subtract from the rating of the fuse on your switch of choice.

Lights look great! Any problems aiming the lights...it was hard to make adjustment with such a tight hole....
