Wheels and tire setup and why

Hello everyone,

I’m kind of new to the forum. Bought my 2019 raptor last August and recently put new Venomrex 602s on my truck in a 17”. I currently have the stock KO2’s but wanted to see what other setups other people have and why they chose the setup they did. also, how you’re liking it or if you switched tires.

Yes, I was actually going that route up until a few weeks ago where I decided to make some mods. Initially, I was in the same thought process as you.

Looks good! I have actually been thinking about KM3’s since they only weigh a couple pounds more. I had them on my 2019 tacoma in 33’s and thought they were pretty comfortable on road and not that loud. I just can’t make up my mind yet. Want to see what others are running and their thoughts!

So god intended the cam phasers to fail !!! Method 701’s with stock tires. I thought about beadlocks but decided to try their grooved tire lock system. Haven’t aired down below 20 yet.

I'm on second set of tires, still first set of phasers, 37k. I like looking at modded Raptors, it's just not for me. I figured I would say it before some old "stay off my lawn" guy did. I don't wear gold chain either.

The KO2’s have been great so far but I’ll keep an open mind when it’s time for replacement. I have a company vehicle so I don’t put a lot of miles on the raptor.
