Wow sounds like one hell of a setup Riku!

The only issue I see with your logic is the time (and money) its going to take to swap back and fourth. I sometimes like to take a long lunch, spur of the moment, and go bomb around. So for me swapping back and fourth doesn't make much sense. But if you can plan ahead a little bit, then it sounds to me like you're golden.

Can't wait for the update and pics bud! I'll leave it to the experts to advise regarding the straps and weight issues.

When the front suspension is fully extended (full droop) the upper a-arm will rub the spring with th Truxx Kit. Raptor21 on the other forums and a few ather can confirm this. The fix is using limiting straps that can be installed to limit the droop travel to the point just before it contacts the spring. Another option is just to compress the sping and move the bottom perch of the shock up...there are 3 settings on the shock and its set at the lowest from the factory.

Personally, I also don't like the fact that the leveling kit requires you cut the studs to install. (as bstoner59 said "irreversible") I would go with moving the lower spring perch up one notch if I wanted to level. Also, with moving the spring perch you won't get into any of the rubbing problems mentioned and you can easily go back to stock.

As far as wheels, I would go with the 9"... but even those could rub depending on the offset. The shop you are ordering from will hopefully suggest the correct wheels and tires, test fit them, and allow an exchange if they rub.

There is one person I saw with the leveling kit. YOu can see where his upper arm is rubbing on the spring, NOT GOOD. Ford spend a grip of money working everything out on the suspension. A cheap leveling kit at causing it to rub is out of the question for me. I like the way the truck sits/rides as is. This is the first truck I have not wanted to go out and do suspension/wheels/etc...

Yeah... I think I might uy some MTs if I get stuck a few times... other than that nothing to wheels and tires (other than maybe another 4 spares).

That has been a concern of mine since the beginning Frogslinger... the guys in my neck of the woods are merciless about a truck that can't pull its weight in the mud. Ford says they changed the rubber compound for better mud and snow traction. They better be right, or we will both be laughing stocks.

Ahh So leveling kit no good? The only one I found was from Truxx.

I don't want rubbing. Leveling Kit vs levelling by moving its perch setting. What do you guys suggest?

Move the perch. Much simpler solution and no adverse affects. Also reversible without buying new parts. My .02
