on one hand it concerns me that Ford is picking up the repair bill. on the other hand, i am happy for the OP that he is getting it taken care of. my concern is what IF Ford denied coverage? Would Hennessey have stepped up? i mean honestly, at 65K, which you have to admit is a premium price for this package...they should have some wiggle room to offer financial assistance for a failure of drive train components which clearly could have been caused by the increase in power.

of course Hennessey knew this could happen. you slap 600HP on a 6000LB truck with a soft, block lifted rear suspension and sticky 35" tires what the hell do you think will happen?

As does any of the company's that build and install high performance products . I wounded if whipple or vortech or procharger would step up and fix the problem. This is kind of buyer beware lots of hp can break shit. To me it's kind of like the bent frame issue who's to blame the manufacture or the user.

OP,
If you are trying to plant that much power on the street replacing the rear springs will help but not eliminate the problem. You will need to add traction bars to completely eleminate the wheel hop. Shims will do nothing for the issue you have.

FYI,
Big smokey burnouts in a high H/P 6000 pound truck with 35" tires is going to break parts.
