I'd say it's the electrical tape, fuses and 8lb hammer that are putting you over!

Actually, the bed looks nice and tidy.

One thing that does weigh a lot is the tailgate with step.

I need to weigh mine.

Why does Jeff's truck have no weight on the rear axle?

What do you mean about having you wheels spread? Is this something to watch for when weighing on a scale?

Jeff was able to get all on one pad on his second time through.

Scale has 4-5 pads for the axles on the rig. For our small trucks John tried to split between first two pads evenly to try to get accurate axle weights.

I don't have the slip anymore, but back in March when I put my '11 screw on the scale (required for registration in Ca.) it weighed 6160 lbs... That was with 1/4 tank of fuel, no driver, and nothing else in it that hadn't been bolted down by ford.

Had our 2012 SCrew pig on the scales at a local land fill and was quite surprised it weighed in at a portly 7380#. That was with 170# driver, full tank of fuel, RPG bump kit, National HD springs, bed rack, Co2 tank, two large ammo cans with equipment kit similar to what @OrangeAddict carries, BAK FiberMax cover, Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's, and heavy ass front/rear tube bumpers. That didn't include spare in the bed, hi-lift jack, or any additional fuel cans. It all adds up quickly!

I'll bet that trail ready with a passenger, additional fuel, coolers, etc., it'll be pushing 8000#!

It's surprising what a fully loaded truck weighs.

man some of you guys have got a lot of extra chit on those trucks! lol

A bone stock screw empty shipping weight with no passengers, no accessories, and an empty fuel tank is just under 6,000 lbs at around 599x.

Mine on the certified scales at MIR was 6335, 100% bone stock with me (200 lbs) and a bit over 1/2 tank of gas (~145 lbs).

Now with a bedrug, betmat, bedcover, toolkits, tie downs, shackles, LED bars, etc. it tips it north of 6600 lbs.

Ironically enough, it went 14.9 when it was 100% bone stock, and weighing at ~6300 lbs.......now with a tune and intake that added allllll that whopping power (lol), it goes.....14.9! Basically the couple performance mods offset the extra few hundred lbs of dead weight lugging it down.

Yeah yeah I know these trucks weren't made for the 1/4 mile, but it's still a good performance measure, and every 100 lbs is worth roughly 1/10th in the 1/4, which is another reason why I'm looking forward to the gen 2 at ~ 500 lbs less, that's 1/2 second performance bump from weight alone (yep I just went there LOL). :ROFLJest:
