I'd say it's the electrical tape, fuses and 8lb hammer that are putting you over!
Actually, the bed looks nice and tidy.
One thing that does weigh a lot is the tailgate with step.
I need to weigh mine.
Why does Jeff's truck have no weight on the rear axle?
What do you mean about having you wheels spread? Is this something to watch for when weighing on a scale?

Too many good beers. Time for a diet!Had our 2012 SCrew pig on the scales at a local land fill and was quite surprised it weighed in at a portly 7380#. That was with 170# driver, full tank of fuel, RPG bump kit, National HD springs, bed rack, Co2 tank, two large ammo cans with equipment kit similar to what @OrangeAddict carries, BAK FiberMax cover, Nitto Trail Grappler M/T's, and heavy ass front/rear tube bumpers. That didn't include spare in the bed, hi-lift jack, or any additional fuel cans. It all adds up quickly!
I'll bet that trail ready with a passenger, additional fuel, coolers, etc., it'll be pushing 8000#!
