As per Ford, DO NO PULL FUSES! For a hard reset, go to your Menu options and Find the Master Reset. Once the master reset has been done, turn the vehicle off, and disconnect the battery cable (Positive Terminal). With the battery terminal disconnected, stick the key in the ignition and turn it to on. After a few seconds, flick the key (don't hold it) to the start position and let it return to on. Leave the key alone for about a minute. Then remove the key, re-connect the battery and you're good to go!

Not quite... after disconnecting the battery it is a very good idea to run through the "battery relearn" procedure as found on page 372 of the 2010 F-150 Owner's guide... if you don't follow this important process, the Raptor will eventually reset the fuel trim, etc, but doing the relearn is recommended.

(pulling the Sync fuse seems much easier/better... but if Ford says not to do it...........)

Ford also doesn't condone jumping the Raptor 5 feet in the air over and over....and for the same reason. Something bad could possibly happen? But obviously TFR chose to ignore that one

Tried this with no luck. Will try the fuse thing next.

Hey Bird, where's that fuse?

I had a similar problem. All I did was (per my Ford dealer- AND IT WORKED) was to re-set my phone w/Sync and make sure it was working by making a call, make sure my contacts were on Sync, etc. Then, with the engine running pull the battery out of my phone. Wait five minutes (I waited about three), put the battery back in and re-boot my phone. Absolutely NO PROBLEMS SINCE. It works. I didn't mess w/fuses or do have to do a "hard-reset." My 2 cents.

John, You are Da Man! That worked. Thanks for that. Bird, thanks for your input as well...just thought I'd try the phone battery first since that was easier.:bananarock:

This is close to what I stated, less pulling the phone battery, I just rebooted my phone, but it did work on my Sport Trac.... glad to see it indeed fixed the issue here as well.
