Hey Jonathan,
Good question and topic. Our website Ford Raptor-Mustang-Shelby GT500-F-150 Performance Parts & Tuning-JDM Engineering sold 12 Whipple Superchargers in the past 2 months. Over this weekend alone we sold 3 based on our Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales! We have sold almost as many Roush TVS systems. We also offer Procharger systems, they aren't as popular. In the last 2 months as well 5 systems were installed in house 2 are scheduled before the end of this month. Of those 7 systems we have/are going to install 5 are Whipple and 2 are Roush TVS kits.
Needless to say the Raptor Supercharger Upgrade has been very popular for us. Our JDM 650 HP kit turn key packages are what most Raptor owners are going with. This is a small twist on the base Whipple or Roush system, basically it includes little more boost, Colder Spark plugs, and our Custom tuning using SCT Software. Generally speaking these kits put out between 500-550 HP depending modifications (ie. Full Exhaust, Twin 65mm TB, Aluminum driveshaft, etc.)
The Raptor 6.2L engine is more than capable of handling 500+ RWHP on 91 or 93 octane. The stock fuel pump is more of a limitation than the engine, after 550 RWHP the fuel pump is fully taxed and in need of a major upgrade. A complete return style fuel system is the answer and we may have something in the works for next year!
Hope this info helps!
