as an OG raptor owner, I appreciate the honesty and non-aggression.

I shall call, pray and be disappointed.

The simpler way

go to Detroit and grab one off the Ford queueing lot. This is where the Raptors are, minus a few electronic parts.

first, buy a Jen Tres.
Next, appropriate your RR from the Detroit lot. if you don’t want to get your hands dirty, the going rate to contract out is about $7500 - which is highway robbery for how easy it is, but you’ll be out less this way. Make sure you get the same color as your Jen Tres.

swap tags to the RR and head for Baja.
While in Mex, you can bribe the locals to “title” your truck.
Bring to local DMV, and Bob’s your uncle, you got a clean RR for way less than you would pay from a stealership.

When does the 24 order bank open?
MY24 Order bank is set to open on September 13th.
Allocations will be given out sometime after that.
One can go now to the dealer to see if anyone on list. Problem is most dealers who put you on list will bump you if they think they can get more $$ from someone else.

Detroit F150 MY24 Production set to start in November while KS 150 in December.
So all R's are detroit of course.

In all seriousness, it’s a dumpster fire dealing with Ford. There is no transparency to ordering and knowing whether or not your dealer actually has an allocation. There are a few people that found MSRP deals for the R, but that’s going to be tough to come by when dealers know they are selling at $150k plus privately/wholesale.

The good news in all of this is that Ford has did a refresh on the Gen 3, which means this model should be around for at least two more years—would be no point in doing the refresh if 24 MY was going to be the last year. So if the Rs are produced for another two years, that certainly increases your chances in finding one. But given the production issues that Ford has had, who knows how many actually will be produced because delivered units for 23 MY is quite low.

24 allocations/order banks are not open yet / released. are they taking bids for the #1 spot maybe?
Possible. I just had a salesman reach out and ask if I was interested and for how much. He said that they believe the market is going to bring somewhere in the $30-40k range.

Yeah I’ve been offered a 2024 allocation for 30ADM. I’ve never paid a markup on any new car before and have multiple exotics and high end cars so not sure I’d be in for an occasionally driven truck.

As I’ve said before, your money, do with it as you please. But it’s not fiction that companies have swapped out V6 for a V8, and gawd, for a truck that costs 25k more without ADM, and then factoring that in, you could have a jet engine installed, not to mention the insurance agent licking their chops when 700 ponies comes up on their screen.

Because of the 900+ engines that needed to be replaced F-P ran out of engines. All '24 R's will be getting the ugly updated headlights plus getting engines from GM it is not quite known at this time which gm engine so instead of job 1 being in november for the R it's expected builds will not start until Jan 1 of 2025 as it will take time for gm to send over the replaced engines from the corvette to ford. Maybe a "bit" of speculation but that is last update I have. I also heard the Code Orange will be replaced by GM Lemon Yellow.
