What's the best way to fill in the L on the 6.2L badge.

Take it off, lay it flat on a table and fill it in with a thin paint. The thin paint will spread out to make sure everything is covered. Plus if it's really thin it should transfer the texture pretty well.

Or turn the truck on on its side...

carefully using a heat gun helps too. take measurements before removing so u can put it back in the right spot

Just put in the direct path of the sunlight here in Texas and use that as your heat gun. Then get some 60+lb test fishing line and remove it. Works like a charm when I had to remove the spoiler on my Mustang a few years ago.

you could try plasti dip it comes in a bunch of different colors and you would not have to take the emblem off

I would think with some testers hobby paint and a small brush, one could paint the "L" with the emblem on the truck...

Since I'm about done with the performance mods for now, I was looking around and a friend of mine had some of these made for his TrailBlazer SS. He did the SS in Metallic blue.

I am looking at the 6.2 in chrome outline with white inside and the L with chrome and Blue inside. Like this
