I plan on driving out there this coming year to visit folks. About 2049 miles, 29 hours. I could coincide with a run if it were to happen. April would be perfect.

Well..

1, I am 5,760 km which converts to 3,580 MILES AWAY which will take me a minimum of 53 hours straight driving as per google maps. This is roughly $1500 in fuel each way not including play time.

I would go between late November and early march. I think it would take a whole lot of convincing to get a co pilot or even another truck to come along.

I want to sooooo bad and have actually though about it before but was going to stop in the new Mexico, Arizona texas distance.

So yes it may take free gas and about a 2 week event with many other festivities to justify 110 hours of commute time, $3000 plus in commute fuel alone and 3-4 weeks off work. Not to mention cranking like 14000 km on the odometer, new tires, hotels, tolls, tons of hot chicks, etc etc.

This will be a $12000 trip!

Does anyone have a further commute? Lol.

I think if you are coming out to CA deserts from a distance like that you might as well wait and join a big raptor group event to Mexico......

Mexico is where all the real fun can happen.

And that will never happen, not with Raptors.

it would be 2600 miles and 36hrs straight thru.

Having driven from CO to Miami just last year when I moved back to FL its not that bad of a drive one way but both ways is a bit crazy and fuel costs would be pretty bad with the raptor. Wonder what the cost for transport would be if a few raptors wanted to have them shipped one way. Bet it would be almost a wash when adding fuel costs and would keep almost 3k miles off the truck and a few days of driving.

Your best bet would be to hire a hauler and come down as a group together. But it would need to be for a worthwhile event.
