When are you guys replacing tires? I've noticed that the stock BFG's have gotten a little louder now that I'm at 21,000 miles. The tread depth is about 8/32nds on all 4 tires and I'm thinking about replacing them once they get to 4/32nds, before the wear indicator. What are ya'lls opinions on driving offroad and wet weather performance versus tread depth?

When mine have less than 1/2" of tread left. Still have almost an inch, so....... I'm good for a while.

I know. We're not much help, just a bunch of smart-asses. Sorry.

It's all good! I'm just trying to get an idea of what others are doing. I replaced tires 3 times on my Gen 1 Raptor and I usually waited until they were close to the wear bar. Now that I have a tune on this truck, I'm getting a second gear scratch and if I turn traction control off in the rain the tires will spin through several gears. My ZL1 Camaro gets better traction!

To be fair, I'm running 37" Cooper STT Pro tires, so, that's a LOT of tread.

It's a bit different in Corpus Christi than in Minneapolis. You can get another "winter" out of a set of tires in Corpus Christi that would be lunacy in the northlands. Keep that in mind.

But there is one universal indicator that is built into your tires - the wear bars. Have a look.

This is true, but I was looking for opinions on rain and offroad (dirt) driving versus snow. This Gen 2 with a tune spins the rear tires a lot easier than my Gen 1 with a tune.

I know what wear bars are, I'm not a millennial!
