I’m about to order some 3.0 live valve from Apollo optics. I’ve decided not to do uca’s at this time as I’m running close to stock offset with my alphaequipt wheels.

I have deaver plus 3’s and bump stops being installed by svc in two weeks along with their bolt on bumper.

My question is, what now? What should I expect performance wise form This set up? Will I notice a difference on road? Should I keep my old shocks? What’s the maintenance on the 3.0’s? Do I have to get them re built at like 30k miles?

I have a 2018 with non live valve 3.0’s fox says 50,000 miles street 10,000 with strait off-road. The best thing about the 3.0’s is the front coilovers that you can adjust to your liking. I haven’t messed to much with the dampening settings. If you can swing it the adjustable UCA’s are worth it for locking in your alignment with a slot delete

What now? What else except spend more money!

your current setup isn’t enough you need MORE. You can expect less than optimal performance with your current setup. If I were you I’d go ahead and and pull the motor out and start looking at cold fusion drives... that’s what’s gonna do it for you. Lol

Seriously though I would just drive it the way you WANT to drive it regardless of your current set up(within safe reason). You will learn quickly what else you will want/not want. Basically if you drive it the way you want to drive and you are not happy with the performance, spend more, if you are happy then you have done everything you need to do....for now that is... hha

I’d need new wheels though right? Something with a 0 or negative offset...svc said I could wait on the uca’s and the tie rods for awhile.

I have icons but good point on the rim. I went down the same path and it just sucks having to go back in and tear it apart again when you will be in there doing the shocks. Not a hard job.

But if I rode it on the stock uca’s for a year or two and then did the uca’s when I got new rims and tires, that should be fine right?

Let me know when you get to the point where you have spent a year building up the truck only to sell it and tell your wife you sold it cause you want to build a better one haha.

it never ends, the moment you go to 37s then you get used to them and want to go 39s, you add lore power then you add bigger tires now you want more power again. You add 3 lights and now you want 3 more in Amber...Lol it’s an addiction for sure
