To the people concerned about the car wash. Get it ceramic coated !! If your somewhat lazy about washing or just work a lot. Makes washing your raptor a 20 minute ordeal. A hard rain also gets it halfway clean, nothing sticks to it.
2nd that. I use hybrid solutions spray on ceramic coating and aside from how clean it stays in general, just a quick hosing off with my electric pressure washer makes it look like I washed it.

I drive my gen 2 through a carwash once a week, paint looks fine. Raptor is made to be used, not to get Sunday car club coffee.
100% agree. I'm pumping new Raptor and lazy butt through the car wash. Lol

I got 8 grand more than I paid ( including TTTL) for my 2019 F250 that was having significant issues. I put about 10K into the truck in upgrades, so the total cost for driving it for 2 years and 34K miles was $2K. I even got an additional tax differential bump since I got 68 for it, so in reality, it was more like I paid $1300 to tow my raptor around with it for 2 years. The used diesel truck market is stupid right now.

I bought my 2018 FULLY loaded Raptor for $45K and it's booking at $60K right now, as tempting as it to sell, once the market goes back to "Normal" I will still get above my $45 buy price. My father has MINT and I mean MINT 2005 Harley Davidson F-250 that he could sell for some pretty good chump change, $25-30K so yes, the used diesel market is crazy!

Ceramic for the win...
Carwashes are terrible on paint. Especially the ones that touch the car. Mine gets used, but I still take car of the exterior... no carwashes for me on any vehicle.

Who needs front sensors when you have cameras?? Haha but seriously the only few things making me consider upgrading is the 5 link rear, 37 inches from factory, and high used car prices make it tempting. I definitely wont be buying the first year of the new generation but maybe a year or 2 after. Of course the used car market will probably go down by then too

a buddy here locally just got $68.5K for his 2018 raptor with fox 3.0s on it. ( trade-in from a dealer) 60 is low for your truck unless it has over 80K miles on it. ( right now)

I'd personally cash out and wait for things to settle. If you know how to buy, you can still buy well.

And as they say, you make your money when you buy, not when you sell.

My 2018 is my second Raptor, first was a 2011. The Gen-3 suspension is the biggest attraction to me. Where I hesitate is the pricing. $84k for 37's is a no go for me. Not willing to spend that much for a pick-up. I will wait a couple of years and see what happens.

How much does that cost, approximately?

1200-1500ish. Worth every penny lasts about 4 years. The place i use will discount it if you have cash. Do it when it’s brand new. Do not wait, get that new paint sealed up before it gets a rock chip. There is a lot on this in other threads already. Sorry for sidebar OP.
