Hello, this is my first post. I was scrolling through pictures on this forum and I would first like to say that several of you have extremely badass raptors.

I myself have a bone stock 2014 raptor screw in tuxedo black and I want to do a level and small lift as well as upgrade the suspension in general.

I want to know what the best parts are to buy if i want to do a level as well as an additional 1-2 inches lift. This truck will remain on the road about 80% of the time, but whenever i do take it offload, I don't ever want a problem that is caused by not having good suspension components.

I have been hearing RPG, FOX, ICON and several other names but I don't know much about them. I would really appreciate if the answers that i receive are in depth and explain why certain things are better than others.

What is your
1. Budget
2. Intended use

Your factory shocks have three adjustment settings. It comes from the factory set on lowest or bottom perch. The next two are referred to as mid and top perch. I set mine on mid perch and haven't had any problems. It lifted front about an 1 1/2.

If I buy the fox 3.0 shocks, do they still do the same thing?

So would you guys say that the FOX 3.0 kit (front and rear) are the best shocks you can buy for the raptor?

And also, do the fox 3.0s allow for the perch adjustments and how do they come out of the box?

I should have said it becomes a trophy truck, the raptor out of the box is a prerunner

What box would fit a raptor though haha

The raptor shocks are an upgrade over the same F-150. Unless you really have a need and are going to use it off-road, stick with what you got until your activities determine you need more. As far as leveling, don't. Do what others are saying and just get a mid-perch adjustment done, this is only on the stock shocks. The 3.0's shocks have adjustment collars to do the same thing.

And asking what suspension is best is an open ended question with a lot of different opinions. Kinda like ********, everyone has one. Do you own research as there is a dedicated section in this forum for suspension plus they have a SEARCH feature too, use it.

P.S. When I went to Baja, there was a stock raptor with just an aftermarket front bumper, that's it. It did just fine in Baja and the driver drove it hard.

That was extremely helpful, thank you. Now do you or anybody else know any really good shops that have experience with raptor in Houston, TX in the memorial area?

FORD RAPTOR FORUM - Ford SVT Raptor Forums - Ford Raptor - Search Forums

Up at the top of the web page, there is a red tab with the word 'search' in it. Tap on that tab and enter some key words in it. Then look through all the threads that pop up. What @RDFTS suggested is for you to do some research. This is good for several reason. It will show how things work around here and you will learn a lot about your Raptor and what different people do to them. We all did the research first. That way we knew what questions to ask when we couldn't find the answer AFTER searching. We don't mind helping, obviously, but you will get a lot more respect and help when we see that you've spent the time looking for yourself instead of just asking us how to build your truck.

If you have any questions about pricing, PM me with them and I will be happy to get you some.

Good luck with your searching!!!
