I would be skeptical of needing cats actually.
Seems like many things that could cause same type of codes to be thrown.
I have had vehicles with a lot of things that I was told cats were needed, and only once on a 2000 with 300,000 miles was it actually needed.
Had a couple exhaust leaks upstream that threw cat related codes.
Quite a few O2 sensors.
I would investigate first...
Good luck with it.
Looked cool in pic

Great looking set up ;-). Your second gen 1?! -must be a happy consumer. More pics and let us know what you learn. FYI, I had a rattling cat in an early Mercedes AMG ml55, (normally aspirated v8 with a nice factory tune, all wheel drive, if not familiar) so I did what any reasonable person would do, cut the rattling cat open (one of two), gutted it and welded it back up. Ran great and still passed smog. I would love to hear that we could get away with the same on a gen 1 if needed. (I’m not a mechanic, so take it for what it is, just an idea to consider). Enjoy that new ride!
