So I installed a set of fox 3.0 and upper 1.0 and lower RPG control Arms. So now my turning radius SUX!! I want to hack the steering stops off my lcas. Any one know if this will cause any issues. I also want to install a second front shock and 37s in the spring. @RPG @patsraptor

Ya you do lose a good bit of steering because the arms are a littl wider for the secondary shock mount but we suggest cutting the stops off the spindles first and see how that works for you if it's still not what you're looking for then you can grind down the stops on the LCA but very carefully usually taking the drops off the spindles first works for most guys

Thanks again for replying pat. So just hack off the whole stop on the spindle??? So then what's the stop on the lca hit? If I end up with a second shock and 37s in the future will cutting the spindle stops off be an issue?

If you cut it smooth with the surface of the spindle then the stop in the lca will just hit the part of the spindle where the stop use to be no harm done and you get some of your steering back! I did mine that way and I only
Had to cut off 2 stops one ok each spindle lmao cause the others ones broke off some time in the last year or so before I put on the LCA's haha

Nice how far is too far on the lca stops. And when do you start running into your shocks with 37s

If taking the stops off the spindles doesn't give you back enough steering if start by cutting a quarter of it off then if you need more then go half off. I wouldn't really go all the way down but I'd leave at least a quarter of it on there still.
