I have a gen 1, there is nothing inbetween there, I've never heard of anything being in there.Got it used last year. Didnt noticed that until my son dropped his toy phone between the cab and bed. Just curious hows does your look between the cab and bed
Ahh thx for the info. I guess i need to do some more research.I don't think that's factory, i've seen other guys trucks on here with the box off and its just a shiny cab behind there with those 2 vents like I posted. I'm scratching my head trying to think why somebody would do that. Has to be a reason, good or bad, lol.
Yep i did see some posts in f150 forums. Wondering if i need this fixed or just forget about it. Looks like it will be pain in the butt to fix it.Looks like a sound deadening panel. I believe I remember seeing the same (mine still attached) on my 2020. It's late for an old guy so I'll check tomorrow if I can remember.
I have a 21 and its on mine. ill go get a pic an post it. There are 2 of them directly above the vents and they are about 18-20" wide and about 6" tall. Maybe 1/4 - 3/8 inch thick. I cant see if they rest on top of the vents or stop above them. I can only think it might be some type of water diverter so water doesn't run down onto the vents. I can't see any other use, as of now. They weren't on my 2018' gen 2. What year is yours maybe they started to put them on later gen 2'sAhh thx for the info. I guess i need to do some more research.
