Thanks @Yukon Joe. It was towed ass up. Do I need to be concerned about damage to the front components? Anything to look for or check?

I'd be concerned, at least till it was looked over and the systems checked out.

Did the tow truck driver follow the process located under the link that TheJoker provided?

Two things: Are you certain this is the diff vent? As I stated, I have a 2011 Scab and the front diff vent looks similar, but is located near the master cylinder.

Also, the owner manual clearly states that the vehicle should be transported on a flatbed. If they towed it without dollies then they may have damaged the IWE. Not Good!
No not 100%. But only fools are positive. :rofljest:

I finally opened the hood of mine to compare. Yes, this is the front diff vent. It is connected to the bolt below the master cylinder. I was confused because I thought the op said this was the coolant reservoir. My bad.:ROFLJest:

OP - How many miles (approx) was it towed for btw ?

40-50 unfortunately. I emailed the company requesting copies of the pictures and asked what gear it was in when it was towed and their reply was "it was towed from the rear". So I imagine it was left in park. They jiffied the lock and got into my truck to rig the seat belt around the steering wheel to keep it from wandering. This appears to be a gray area of the law since they are required to secure the wheel/vehicle to tow but commit a criminal act to do so.

I just drove it 500 miles across texas with no issues (at least that I know of).

Oo yeah. Here's why I got towed by the uneducated slimeball tow truck driver!!

You got towed for being over the line? DAMN. A simple ticket would have been fine.

I'd do a fluid change out, of course it's not really any different than driving in 4 hi at 50 mph. It probably shuttered a bit when going around tight turns.

And I'd put it in some dirt or gravel and try the four wheel drive. If the system seems to work, then your probably ok.
