What is the loudest exhaust out on the market???

I believe that truck also has headers, so I was told anyway. I called borla and asked them about what muffler would be the loudest and sound the closest to there stinger systems and he told me which muffler to order. I was hoping it would sound like the one in that video not yet knowing he had headers. So I put in the muffler and dumped it also removed resonator. It sounded deep and nice but it was not that loud. I then swapped it out for a magnapack and did the lightning style exit and its loud and nasty.

The Borla muffler you had is not the same one as in the video, that I know for sure.
I did the same thing called up Borla told them about that truck and what I needed and they recommended a certain race muffler and it sounds nothing like it.
These guys don't even know what the different mufflers sound like. I think I now know what muffler it is though.

Which one do u think it is? I love my magnapack but I wouldn't mind throwing in the borla if it sounds better....

Borla has a muffler called the XR-1 Racing muffler which is the one they sent me, but the one I think is in the video is the XR-1 Multi-core Racing muffler.

Got the part number? I had an XR-1 on mine it was the smallest one they make.....

The one you had was XR-1 part number 40943 which is a glass pack 12 inch oval. The glass pack kills all that raspy sound and deadens all the popping.
The XR-1 MULTI-CORE has a bunch of smaller pipes with holes drilled inside the muffler.
Part number is 40575 and that is a 16" oval.

I think that I was wanting to spend 1,000+ the borla would easily be my first choice.

You could buy just the muffler and not the whole cat-back.

Hmmm I thought a multi core bigger case muffler wouldn't be as loud but I do see what ur saying...

What does the Roush muffler look like on the inside? I have never seen one in person but I would guess that its multi-core or no fiber fill.

I really like the way that Raptor sounds in that video, but playing detective and trying to find out which muffler they are using sucks. I just wish Roush would make their exhaust with the stock tip location. I think it looks corny the way they make it now.

Ya I agree and they wont sell you just the muffler.

I have magnaflow magnapack. It's F-ING loud. Ask guys who were at TRR. Had my buddy drive next to me and said people literally jumped when I opened it up. Sounds way better than no muffler too. Plus its quiet when you need to be.
