On a serious note I am a little nervous about breaking my truck or really tearing something up...I am also worried my skills aren't enough for this truck either...but I got insurance and am extremely excited to see what the truck and me can do...

Should be a good time...

Natural to be nervous Fred. I was worried about my skill level compared to everybody else on the first run. Two minutes into the first trail I was only focused on driving and having fun. Raptors are very easy to get along with off road. You should get a chance to test yourself while still being safe and able to drive it home.

Yea man I know the feeling, when I was at ft. Bragg it seemed like no one wanted to take their trucks off road. I'm in Alaska now and the offroading is amazing, my raptor stays offroad as much as it can

Who gives a shit how someone uses their truck?? why waste your time getting all worked up over how other people spend their money and use their stuff? Do you get equally pissed off when you see people walking around in high top basketball shoes and they never play the game? Running shoes when they're fat asses and can't run a block? Wear a fishing vest when they never go fish? I mean really, why own any of that shit if you never use it for its intended purpose? F'in posers!

Having a Raptor and not off-roading is no different than having a badass sport car and not racing it at top speed.

I guess I just don't have the time nor inclination to think about WHY someone bought their Raptor and I just instead enjoy sharing how much we love our trucks, etc...

I want to protect her with an upgraded bump kit but can't find any info. I guess I will just keep her parked until I decide on which way to go.

Ruh oh, street queen alert. I sense some rustled jimmies.

Because for $40-60k, you can get a far more comfortable/better built/easier to drive/more economically vehicle.

Oh I was reading something about the invasion of Normandy today and how "Rangers Lead The Way" is the motto of the 75th Ranger Regiment that came from 5th Battalion being told by General Norman D. Cota commander of the 29th Infantry Division on the beach head in 1944. I didn't know the connection to RLTW and Ft. Bragg could you explain this to me???
