Thanks for the info, I like the idea of the m&r set up as. Would tint the lens of one flood amber, white flood and one spot for each side all wired separate to cover any situation. I'm going to check out the d2 setup as well.

Police bothering me due to bright is not a huge concern but I don't want to blind everyone coming at me. I'm thinking I could aim them low enough to keep out of cars but on the road?

OR.. Am I on the wrong track? This is the first truck I've had without fogs and I'm really starting to notice it, plus if I have them I want to be able to use them more than a few times a year. I don't do much off pavement at night..

Might want to chat with WSI and look into some amber Whelen Micro Pioneers mounted in the lower grill opening. Looks a lot cleaner to me than any of the fog kits I've seen that use the side bumper openings. The look is similar to the fog light location on the Super Duties. The amber doesn't seem to be as annoying to other drivers, but I do turn them off as a courtesy to oncoming traffic. Here's what it looks like. http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f190/new-wsi-bumper-whelen-amber-micro-pioneers-25306/

The KC ones are amazing. They exceeded my expectations. Although they're a little expensive, the quality and brightness make up for it.

I have a Rigid Dually kit. Both are in Spot, one white and one amber. I use the Amber all the time, and I run the Whites when it's dusk or overcast. With all the ambient light around, they are not a shock to other drivers. At night though, I just run the Ambers with my headlights.

I'm loving the rigid dually's fog kit from James@alternative. Running strong for a year now and use the ambers every night as running lights.the dually kit is Plenty bright enough on-road. Beyond OEM, any brighter might raise police eyebrows. As it is, I aim my spots left and right so oncoming traffic doesn't get blinded straight ahead. I get flashed every once in a while by picky drivers with having my amber floods on but nothing to worry. Amber helps my eyes out great at night with or without the need for fogs to be turned on. The Thing I mainly didn't care for with M&R's light kit is there isn't an option to have ambers. Last I heard, they only offered whites. M&R can chime in on that matter...... If I had seen the value going D2's at the time of purchasing, I would have. Now, if I was to do things over, I would have went D2's as you can never have enough lighting offroad and I seen first hand the brightness their D2's put out.

Picky drivers flashing you? Your blinding them with off road lights what do you expect?

1 car every 2 weeks if that. This is strictly with 2 dually ambers, I don't ride with my spots ever. I rather them notice me then take a left in front of me like many do these days. . I have more drivers flash me for just my headlights. Lol. Then they realize its my cut-off and I throw on brights and they wave for apology.
