and my wife's 2018 Audi A8L

Appears I have some affinity for 1000R vehicles...

They both have 1 common feature which I find marvelous : versatility

The buggy traverses sugar-soft sand and rock gardens with utter grandiosamente

And the bike can be taken to the track today and on a cross country 500 mile trip (done that)

I enjoy the s1000r so much I kept it in lieu of the GS 1200 adventure and R ninet (in my display picture) that I sold

Those Yukon’s are great machines... Our 20 is our third. Our dealer is going to give us a demo for a few days when the nbs comes out. I think they look amazing, but I’m not sure about the new model year gamble

Posted pic of the beast when it was in one piece before & actually in MY garage, but figured I’d share. My 03 Z06 under the knife getting pretty hefty build- A&A centri supercharger, McLeod RXT twin disc ceramic clutch, A&A HD rad & tranny cooler, Upgraded primary fuel system (pump/filter/Bosch injectors/rails etc), secondary fuel system & methanol injection kit, inspect TQ tube (actually looks fine- bushings still look new) etc. after tuned & buttoned back up going back to another shop where I’ll be able to get my own hands dirty will be swapping out new front sway bar/end links/bushings - timken wheel bearings all four corners, moog ball joints upper/lowers, rebuilding/media blasting a-arms & spindles, new rear inner/outer tie rods & new sway bar bushings/links (rear sway you see in pic stays lol) it’s gonna be a friggin monster. Weighs 3080 lbs right now w/ 1/4 tank. This build will add some weight but also losing some w/ a few components- but the 650whp should be plenty to compensate ;-)
