thank you. 1975 Bronco with a 302 Auto. Lightly restored/modernized but for the most part original.
It's a great put-around town ride.

ive always been a corvette fanboy & was a GM die hard- the C8 is unreal....but that’s kinda the problem. It “cheapens” the ownership experience/draw/aura whatever you wanna call it for a lot of the highest end European etc mid engine/exotics. Make no bones bout it- the C6 GS/Z06/ZR1 already competed w/ or matched or beat a lot of exotics/hyper cars - let alone the C7 high performance variants- the C8 BASE car nips at the heels of a Porsche turbo, base mclaren etc

so- when the Z06, ZR1 & then possibly their true HyperCar “zora” edition come to fruition, other than name recognition, collector status, & extremely underwhelming reliability coupled w/ extreme high/obnoxious maintenance/repair costs- what exactly will be the real draw/accolades to be doled out for the likes of the lambo? Mclaren? Ferrari? Porsche? Etc....an M or AMG car? Bahahahjahahahahahhahahaha

GMs “mic drop” on the automotive world is significant- but they could have dialed it back a smidge and/or raised the price tag a bit to help the other overpriced BS out there too
C8 is quick, but a 992 turbo will embarrass it. As it should for more than 2x the cost.

Any of you guys wanting a C8 for MSRP let me know, I can put you in touch with a few dealers out of CA. I am holding out to see the C8z, but more than likely will end up with a slightly experienced 991.2 TTS, it’s just too good at everything.

Well comparing a base model N/A C8 vette to a 6 figure tt luxury GT that doubles as a track weapon isn’t exactly fair.....but, even more embarrassing would be me driving my “old” modded C5 vette to the track to destroy both a C8 & a 992 turbo & then driving back home from said track ;-)

let’s see what the High end vettes bring to the table- I’m already getting blown up twin cam tt engines from their Tonawanda factory...last time I saw something similar wound up being the black wing V8 used in CT6V, but those had the turbos inside the “V” in middle of blocks these new engines have em mounted in the back/rear of engine similar to Raptor actually - although I also heard they’re working on a N/A engine for the Z06

they should also employ an AWD variant w/ electric motor in diff driving front wheels....either ZR1 or possibly even a higher level HyperCar “zora” edition

Bottom line is- whatever brand you choose these days the performance out the box is insane!!

C8Z is NA flat plane V8. ZR1 will get the boost. They are going back to the C6 model heirarchy, C7Z and ZR1 were way too close in performance.

I love my Flat Plane crank 2019 GT350. Had to sell my 2018 C7 Manual after back surgery. Couldn't get in and out easily.
Don't really miss it.

Lol....I remember one of my early track days....show up in my C6Z....I was a decent driver....my car was fast....there was a guy in a stock looking C5 and nothing special....HE DESTRYED EVERYONE...that thing flew around the track like no ones business....he was a really good driver in a really good car...driving circles around guys with $100, $200K cars....true story....all these crazy fast cars are worthless without a good driver
