The stock tune on the Raptor 10r80 transmission is about average. The “Normal” in Raptor modes is = “eco” in regular F series trucks. The ’17 and ’18 MY trucks have revised shifting tables addressed by a TSB for ‘harsh shifting’. Or you could get a tune.

Likely the battery itself wasn’t “the” issue, but probably the transmission adaptive learning tables and the truck’s lazy throttle curve. I put a pedal commander on for normal mode and keep it on a low adjustment value- city, or city +1 max. Otherwise the throttle gets twitchy in sport mode and the off road modes.

Brentwood. Been to that show many times. I’m overdue. Wish it was still at movie theater in cool springs. I go to the one off seaboard when they have it. Some nice vehicles there!

Have a 2024 KTM 300 XCW - love it!!! We run hard enduro in the woods. Whooped this morning - we did 53 miles yesterday! Yep, I need to ride an E Bike. Got friends with them. They had a class racing them last year at TKO. My buddy is setting up that course for this year - should be fun!

I would have to take a couple days off after that. I picked up a used super fast Surron type ebike yesterday, waiting on my larger one to show up. We have a good group of 50-60 year old riders.

Down in TX. I picked up a Ventus One with 130 miles on it. Most powerful production, surron size, bike out. It has upgraded forks and an 18" rear tire, weighs about 150 lbs. We're getting ready to go meet up in a bit.

We lived in Southlake, TX for a couple years. I really liked Texas!! Had Harley’s there and rode all over hill country- great people and culture!!! Like Tennessee. Be safe.
