I have been very tempted to trade my daily Accord Sport for a STi, but I think I’m going to gamble and wait on the next gen when it arrives... If I can wait

I owned 2 of them an 08 hatch and this 16. They are fun cars the new ones with 19s are not as fast as the older ones. The next gen will make mid 300s for horsepower and be direct injection so you might want to wait for that one.

ive always wanted one- def worth waiting for an update since they’ve been the same for 10+ years essentially.

Did you drive a Civic-R yet? Lotta fun driving it @ 9/10s all the time everywhere rowing gears.

Y’know, I’ve thought about that too... I’m pretty tight with the local Honda dealer but they have never sold one and said it would have to be a special order... Maybe I should be a **** and test drive one somewhere else [emoji848] Admittedly I’m not a huge fan of the Type-R styling, but I would likely get used to it

The Type R is a Honda FWD, if you like the kick of RWD then it is not for you. Pick up an older EVO if the STI is not for you. Trust me lots of these cars out there: Golf R, Type R, Focus RS, and EVO. The only one that feels like a RWD car and you can actually see the hood is the STI. If a mid 13 second car is not fast enough then get a COBB port and make it a 12 second car. If that is still not fast enough run a e85 tune with controller and get into the 11s or maybe even 10s.

These cars can be made ridiculously fast for not much money.
