Paying MSRP and paying thousands of dollars to travel somewhere to pick up the truck in flight expenses + gas isn't really paying MSRP...lol...saves you a bit on taxes at the DMV but that's all

While I hear you, in my case, I really didn't spend that much to go get it... airfare was ~$130, and I have a high school buddy that lives 8 miles from the dealer where I bought... so lodging there was free. All it cost me beyond airfare was two tanks of fuel (plus the "free" full tank from the dealer) and a single night in a hotel.

All in, it was $600 or so out of pocket, and I got to hang out with my buddy for a couple of days... it sure beat the best local quote that I got, which was MSRP +$2k.

No one will ever openly admit to paying over MSRP, but I guarantee there's lots of people here who did...

Doesn't Jenny mean Gen1?

Jen2 (or Jenny/Jennifer) is widely used here for reference to Gen2.

Ignore Jake17. He's been banned once and is full of useless and incorrect information.

Seriously where's all the people that paid $5, $10, $15k over? Maybe they're not on here? Online it says the avg price paid for a Raptor is around $87k. I know a friend of a friend that paid $90k. California. Avalanche. One of the first ones, if not Thee first one in the area

This site is loaded with peeps who attempted to do their homework, and not get ripped by dealerships. Most that payed 10+k over MSRP probably don't even know this site exists. Hell, I drove a 2011 Raptor for 100K miles, i never knew this site existed. Did not discover it until i started my search for a truck that was not marked up $5+K over MSRP. And for sure, for those who do use this site, and paid grossly over MSRP, you will not hear from them, although there are a few who openly admit to $5K over.

I never gave it much mind, but since I got out the door for my sticker price which it included my tax (7% for Indiana) i guess I actually purchased for somewhere around invoice. When I run the math, purchase price of the truck would have been $55,750K. I've always been happy that I purchased at MSRP, never even gave the sales tax a second thought. And as stated above, 801a SCREW (moonroof, LED spot mirrors...) so its no stripped down version of the truck either.
