the shelby is and ktm are both gone now. ( saving up for a class 1 buggy ). Shelby was pretty heavily modified.(built suspension. built motor) KTM was bought as a basket case and completely rebuilt. ended up being 240 lbs wet pushing 83HP. a friend bought it from me, so I see it every now and again. I still have this galaxie and one other.

That one has a NA 572 in it.

I have another 1966 that I inherited from my Dad, that is a legit, survivor R code 427/4spd. It is currently undergoing a full resto and being put back to how it rolled off the line. ( someone painted it white in the 70s.) Ford only made 231 (iirc) 1966 R code Galaxies. Most of the ones you might see are generally "fake" 427s built from 351Ws.

I had a 2001 2500HD 8.1L/Allison (no pics) and sold that plus my BMW 135i for my 2013 SCrew. I miss this car but I don't miss the maintenance. Hah!
