Given all the available options is there a particular reason you went with RCI?
RCI makes good shit, I use their skids as well. Priced decently too. And, they will work with you. I didn't need the very front skid plate because I have an ADD bumper with one built in... so they made me a package with the others.

Was at the dealer today for rear end noise again. Was a little over a year ago they went through the whole thing and it needs it again. Not sure if its a poor job by the mechanic or poor quality parts, but I've never had an issue with a rear end until this truck. Plus, it seems like it's been riding like a lumber wagon lately, so I'm wondering if my live valve shocks are malfunctioning and going full stiff. That's not what I need to be going full stiff :anitoof:

What are your tire pressures at? Do a live valve recalibration.

And if you think Ford axles are bad, you haven't had a Jeep.

I don't have the capability of doing a recalibration and my dealer has basically no experience with this ( small dealer), so I'm not sure what to do yet. I'm also skeptical if it actually has an issue because I've been driving our gen3 and it rides much better. I'm wondering if maybe the solenoids are failing because I live in the rust belt and they've been through 3 winters.
I run 36 in the front and 34 in the rear since I've owned the truck (over 3 years).

Damn didn’t know that. Anyone want to buy an RCI front skid? Haha

Get a dongle (giggity) off Amazon and download Forescan. A number of threads and how too on here.

FWIW, I run 34 front and 32 rear on my tire pressures. Also seems to be a good mid point for most FRF members.

I don't own a laptop:oops:
The temperature has dropped from 88 two days ago, to 52 today, so the tires will adjust to your suggested pressures on their own, lol.
Aren't you running 37s?

Yes, but people with 35s run the same pressures. I haven't ran a chalk test yet to make another adjustment.

Edit: thought I saw somewhere that you can use your phone to forescan and they have an app. Would need a different dongle.

Thanks for the advice. Ill look into the forscan option. I have a friend that has messed with it and it looks like I'm gonna have to cave and get up to speed.
