Received the new designed BD SAE lights three weeks ago and just got around to installing them. I replaced these with a pair of their Sport model b/c I kept getting flashed with oncoming traffic and I certainly don’t want to blind oncoming traffic . First impressions, the fit finish and overall quality is far superior to their first generation. Even the black painted housing seems to have an overall better feel and high quality look. The lenses are amazing and even though they claim the SAE are not as bright as their sport model is, I took the Raptor late at night to test and adjust the light beam, and they definitely throw a further and cleaner light down the road and the beam is more linear and concentrated with a nice clean cut off. I’ve always preferred BD over other competitors but now they have really raise the bar.

Picked up my new trailer and spent the weekend camping through Utah, Idaho, Oregon, and ended up home in Seattle. Besides a few hiccups in the tow module on the Raptor, things moved without any issues! The Ecoboost does a great job hauling the 2,300lbs trailer up mountain passes without breaking a sweat.

Didn't love pulling 10mpg though, but that's not entirely unexpected haha.
I've always loved these... spendy though.

All the good stuff is. TFL did a trailer test with raptor (R) a few weeks ago. The trailer which is an overlanding trailer not some 40 ft giant, STARTS at $150k

Alarm started to sound at home this morning and I hit the Fob and it didn't shut off so figured it wasn't me. It was.....went out and remote would not work. I had to start the truck in order to silence it. Sure the neighbors loved me. Picked up two new batteries and took the fobs apart and cleaned them. Not sure if that was the issue but it needed to be done, filthy.
