got the ol girl back from the wrap shop today. it's a burgundy/black iridescent sparkly color with silver pressed carbon on the bottom following the body lines.

I also ordered a built ecoboost. it will be good for about 1050hp to the wheels ( coupled with some "soon to be released" garrett turbos that are due in April).

forged internals, some head work and a few bits being borrowed from the Ford GT parts bin.

Monday, I'm off to Texas Motorworks for new wheels/tires and a few other odds and ends.

I'll be in Baja Friday morning with ExO, bright and early. really stoked to get back out in the dirt with my homies.

Wow some change. Can I say it looks mean and pretty in one sentence? That base color is pretty snazzy. Hood details off some nice character too.

So that’s it no V8 over priced transplant? A built up RMB ecoboost it is. Will be exciting to hear about. That looks like a high tech slug you have pictured.

the same power out of a coyote-based motor , finished and in the truck running is approximately 4 times what the built RMB motor will run me. ( no one will program the truck if I do all of the other work, and none of the shops that do the swaps will let me supply my own motor.)

I know some folks "gotta have it", but V8 "sound" ain't worth an additional $40K to me. If the way the motor sounds sucks, well, I have noise-canceling headsets and an intercom in the truck to take care of that.

I'd rather spend that extra money on a 6 spd sequential transmission, and about 10 trips to Baja.

If I didn't have this truck, I could probably be driving a pretty nice used Ferrari 458.

how's that for offensive?

I wouldn't need a $75K f-250 to tow the Ferrari around though. :p might even be able to swing an upgrade to a 488.
