I found the same or similar socket usb mount as you have and already ordered it off Amazon. Great idea man and ill jump on the install this weekend or early next week. I might do a quick write up with pics if there's enough need by members on here

Anyone got a link for these? I cant see a ******* thing backing up... You would think they would install brighter ******* lights in 2020, since its been DARK SINCE THE BEGINNING of time.




I put Black Oak spots in the rear and ran the wiring through the frame to the upfitter switches.

Tail of the dragon is a very cool road. I did it in a Corvette once at a pretty "rapid" pace.

There are openings in the frame rail. I fed the wires through them enclosed in wire loom. Took a lot of patience.
Ran it up the passenger side engine compartment and hooked them into the upfitters. Wired into a 10amp cause they draw 3 amps apiece.

Does the blue light on the USB plug always stay lit? Isn't that a draw on the battery, even minimal?

It looks like it shouldn't be an issue. I'll be able to tell you in the next week. I ended up getting the same setup the previous guy did.
I saw the voltmeter ones but I didn't go for it as it doesn't seem necessary for my setup

Was trying not to buy anything for Black Friday but caved, ordered an AWE 2FG H pipe for the gen2. Wanted to wake up the sound of my truck w/o getting obnoxious and spending a ton of $. Hopefully this does the trick!
