Installed 35" cooper stt pros

According to a decibel-gauge application on my mobile, acoustics increased from 75-76 to 77-78 decibels.
Needless to say, negligible.
There is a slight whirring akin to 50/50 offroad bike tires if you're familiar. But I'm fairly certain it'll tone down within the first few hundred km as sharp edges taper off with use.

Installed a Ford Performance Rear Diff cover. As others have said, great quality, more stout and more lube capacity. I did this at 390 miles and had no problem removing the OEM cover. The surface rust came off easily with green Scotch-Brite pad. I flushed the remaining oil with an extra quart if AMSOIL, just very **** retentive.

Took me 2 1/2 hours. Took advantage of the spear wheel being removed and cleaned it/coated with Nyalic.

The instructions call to torque the bolts to 25 lbs, but everything I read and videos said 14lbs, so I opted with 14lbs.

I took mine in for its first oil change Wednesday and also asked that the tires be road forced balanced.

Upon getting it home and getting underneath it, there was:
  • Excess oil dripping down from the skid plate;
  • A missing bolt on the cover from the passenger side that has to be removed, along with 2 broken u-nuts;
  • Weights installed on the wheels that don't clear the brake calipers; and
  • My wheel barrels are all scratched up where they used a screwdriver or something to get the old weights off.
Needless to say I wasn't happy and it's going back on Monday for them to "fix" it.

Reason mine only goes to the stealership for warranty work. I use a place that does nothing but tires. No brakes, no oil changes, and lots of high end cars. They have never put a scratch on any of my wheels. This includes Shelby anniversary wheels on my GT500 that are 4000 - 5000 a set. Owner has had two raptors and has a GT350R now.

I do my own oil changes. Fumoto makes that a breeze. No drips, or oil running anywhere.

Those Coopers are a phenomenal tire! Seem to be underrated in the Raptor crowd. I run ST MAXX myself.
