Start of by getting a deutsch dt 6 pin connector

can be found here

The crimping tool needed

For wire sleeving I used

and use some regular shrink tubing for the ends to hold everything in place.

The nice thing is the truck side of the harness will never have to be changed once you build the connector... never have to trim it , re do it or all the other hack jobs I have seen out there.

The input side (male) side of the harness is “do as you wish” . Right now I have three inputs used for aux 1-3 for my front lights.

hope this helps a bit, there are some videos on YouTube on how to actually built the connector but it’s an easy process.

Looks great ... Where did you get that light and how did you tap into the reverse lights?

The company is called opt7 , there is a 48” or a 60 “ of the light . I used the 48” because if you have the tailgate step , there is a bracket in the way on the bed body that would interfere.
I tapped in to the trailer harness for the reverse power input and used a body ground. My goal was more reverse light and this is the answer for me. I bought the Baja lights and mounted them like everyone else but honestly I hated the look. It was too cluttered so I took them off.
