Looks great ... Where did you get that light and how did you tap into the reverse lights?

Installed Bedrug and Ultra Flex Tonneau cover.

Great quality on both. I’m Embarrassed to say, took me 5 hours to install both.
I was a bit disappointed with the pre-scored cut outs for the LED lights with the bedrug, they don’t line up and are too long. Learned the hard way with the first cut and over cut the opening by a good 1”, but was able to “cut and paste” so it looks ok.

I removed the two LED bed lights and removed the light switch by reaching my arm up through the underside and pushing the tabs that hold the light switch in place. This created a clean installation with the switch trim fitting over the bed rug.

Very impressed with the Ultra Flex quality, fit and finish. Much improved over my Gen1 Bakflip. I opted to have the drain hoses exposed so it’s not tucked behind the bedrug.

Looks great! I get a ton of compliments on the Ultra Flex. The smooth matte finish looks great and agree with you on the upgrade over the Bakflip F1.

I have the undercover ultra flex and drove about 30 minutes in torrential rain.
The carrier was dry.
Although I need to maintain some of the sponge sealing as its not maintaining alignment - normal wear and tear.

Yes, I’ve very pleased with it. I’m having it ceramic coated as well and hoping it doesn’t make it shinny, I’m digging the matte finish.

How does this thing fare during torrential summer Florida rain?

It does well. It won't be completely waterproof as expected from this type of cover but a few drips doesn't bother me. The key is to make sure it's aligned properly and that you maintain the rubber seals with some type of quality UV rubber protectant. I had the Bakflip on a Nissan Titan for over 10 years and never had an issue.

You'll be fine. I did mine with Gtechniq Exo and CS Light. Just make sure the installer knows what they're doing to avoid high spots, etc. If that happens then removing the coating will involve some type of mechanical abrassion and most likely create glossy spots.

Yesterday took it on a road trip from Lake Havasu, AZ to Oatman, AZ. It is an old western mining town on route 66 and they let burros roam around the town. Had lunch at the local saloon/restaurant and had a bison burger. On the way back went down some dirt roads at 60 mph and had some fun. Had friends along and they were impressed on how good the truck handled. Great day.
