Does more air flow help these without any tuning? Or better to be safe and stick with a stock filter ?

As per AEM/K&N they claim higher flow than oem. I mainly did it for the washability vs buying a new filter every year. The construction on the AEM seems to be higher quality so I'll give it a try.

I see, jw if higher flow has helped them at all. Sometimes it makes no difference

Ordered my BD Unlimited Fog kit, and got round to doing my first Topcoat F11 application... Also yesterday I fitted my Blendmount and Mirrortap for my Uniden R3. Not that impressed with the mount especially for the money, but it’ll work

i had a bunch of stuff i was doing to the truck yesterday... so my apologies for the lengthy post. Here are a few projects:

#1. Coat the new Icon leaf springs in Amsoil MPHD. Really nothing to see in a pic. It dries to a water repellent waxy coating. Looks like some decent protection!

#2. This one is interesting... I sprayed some of the Amsoil MPHD on a disposable paper shop towel... and then wiped my crusty exhaust tips down... pretty shocking difference.

It’s gonna need to be reapplied from time to time... But I’m not ready to invest in new exhaust yet and this stuff is supposed to encapsulate metal plus it repels water. There is an exhaust tip thread i posted some pics as well...

#3. When i bought all my BD lights from FordRaptorLights.com i also purchased their front liner extensions to help keep crap off the back of lights... my son and i just got around to putting them on. I really like them! A bit hard to photo... but here you go:

#4. Finally... installed my Bora wheel spacers. Real pleased with these as well. I won’t throw all the install pics because others already have. I chose to do 1.5” on the front and 1.25” on rear. I realize this is a polarizing topic... but I’m happy. It’s sort of hard to get pics but here are some after shots.

Monday I installed the Cobb Stage 1 Kit.

Yesterday I tried it out.
cobbresults.jpg

Sport Mode, AWD, Traction Control off. No standing on brakes. Just stab the throttle.
Sub 5 Seconds is pretty damn impressive for something that weights 5700 lbs.

What app is that for logging?

Great result indeed

Looks great! Did you have to trim the rear studs to install the 1.25”? I have 1.25” boras on the way for all four corners
