Which options, Todd: +2 or +3, standard or HD? What's your use case for them? Strongly thinking about doing +3 HD's for better trailer towing, but want to know what others are going with.

Curious too….thing is if you call deaver directly they won’t necessarily tell you to get any off the shelf pack, seems like getting a “custom” set according to your specific needs is the best bet…..that being said, when the time comes for my shocks to be rebuilt if I plan on keeping the truck I think I’m also going to look into having a spring shop rearch the stock leafs while adding an extra leaf or 2 for height/towing durability/extra capacity. Not entirely convinced it’s only deaver/icon or bust

If your going tot he trouble to pull/rebuild the shocks and refresh the springs, just short course it………..

All kidding aside no modification is one size fits all. Deaver +3 SD fit my use case pretty well, but not everyone’s. The only caution I would give you on the stock leaves is that mine had reverse curvature bend at ride height before I replaced them. I do use my truck offroad though. Basically saying that I’m not sure I would try to re-arch a stock leaf spring in the shape mine were.

I've been seeing those in ebay. but they dont come with any brackets or brake lines.
The kit I purchased came with brackets. The only kits currently available don’t come with brackets and they use the new style bracket that bolts from the side instead of the top.

Hi. I bought the standard OEM stock height l83 as I do bit toe or off road. I didn’t want to raise the back of the truck I just wanted the rear end to be more planted hard takeoffs so I don’t get will hop. Also, from what I’ve read and people I’ve spoken to that have these installed it greatly improve the overall ride and handling.

Can I also ask what bump stop kit you went with? That's the one thing I'm hung up on.
I decided to go with Deaver Springs bump stop spacer, for $100 it’s really good quality it’s milled out of solid billet aluminum and the easiest mod, It took longer to open the package than it did to install them. The quality is great.

Todd looks like you are still using the blocks under the springs? If you are, you are not supposed to...
No I’m not, using the Deaver spacers. Even if you wanted to, you couldn’t install the springs with the OEM blocks because you bolts are not long enough
