Spent the morning installing Deaver +2 HD springs and SDHQ bump pads all from Nick of Apollo Optics. Makes the vehicle complete all the way around!!!!
Nice! Yesterday I decided I didn't feel like torturing my old body and scheduled Krazy House Customs to install my +3HD deavers, eibachs and new set of OEM Foxs next Wednesday, so long overdue.

Can't complain thus far. I really, really should be letting someone else do the work at this point in my life. Having made money turning a wrench and with experiences with various dealers, I just have trust issues.

I hear you, I still do my oil changes, a total trust issue. I would do the job before I gave it to a dealer...but KHC is 30 minutes from me, dine this stuff countless times and it’s worth saving my knuckles....my back...and who knows what else will break on me. Lol

I have always told my wife that I get paid to do my job so let's pay someone else to do theirs. Mine is not installing parts on my truck or jeep. Simple easy things like oil changes ill do but bigger things like swapping leaf springs, and def welding im going to pay someone else to do it.
People helping people, making the world go round.

I have wrenched on tons of vehicles when I was younger. At my old age of 35, I don't even do an oil change. The dealer charges 49 dollars for the same ford oil that I can buy and the same oil filter I can buy. Damn if I aint going to let them do it for $49.

You ******* right. Its great to know how to do something for sure and be able to do it yourself, but if you can afford to save your back, why not.

I did it once. Now, if I had a lift at my house, sure I'd buy the oil and all that and do it. Takes 15 minutes lol.

Not crawling on my ******* back on concrete to do this with hot *** oil and the draining is falling all over the place.

Fumato valve and a hose. Flip the tab and she drains right in the oil pan no mess and don't matter if its hot. And with my SVC bumper I can pull the skid and reach the oil filter with ease. And it drains down the factory funnel thingy right in the oil pan too. A little brake cleaner and a rag and she cleans right up. I have a Fumato valve on all my vehicals.
And a creeper is a must have as well. And it doubles as a toy for my 6 year old. Win win!
Btw I wish I was 35 again!!
